Since the initial launch of the design system in April 2024, it has been part of the roadmap for the UAE design system to create more functional packages that can support frontend development frameworks and libraries. React is a free and open-source front-end JavaScript library that aims to make building user interfaces based on components more seamless.
By popular choice of the community that has been involved in development, design and enhacements of the UAE design system, was indeed React as the need for an official package.
We are pleased to provide details about the new React package for the UAE Design System, released by the Telecommunication and Digital Government Regulatory Authority in April 2025.
